To get the following screenshot, off of my iPod touch I had to-do the following -

Downgrade iPod firmware to 1.1.1 following instructions at -

http://www.touchdev.net/wiki/Jailbreak_1.1.2

Next I had to install Java Runtime, to run the final component to let me use latest version of iPod firmware (1.1.2) with Jail broken software.

I then installed the screenshot program, which let me take the screenshot and copy it to a directory on the iPod.  This was easy, as the package installer installed by the above gave me a link to the software.

Final hurdle,  was to use WINSCP  ( http://winscp.net )which let me transfer the image across to my desktop PC.

Look I was a bit bored!
